This policy explains what RG Plumbing collects when you contact us, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written in plain language on purpose.

We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, your date of birth, or your bank or card details through this website.
If you text us, we keep the conversation so whoever picks up next knows what you already told us. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number with anyone, and we never share it for marketing. See our SMS Terms & Conditions for how texting works and how to stop it.
How often we text, and what it costs. Message frequency varies with your job — there is no schedule and no recurring send, so you only hear from us when something actually happens on your service call. Message and data rates may apply. We never charge you for a text; any charge comes from your own mobile carrier under your plan. Reply STOP to any message to stop texts to that number immediately, or HELP to get our contact details.
Our phone and text line, and the chat window on this website, are answered with the help of an automated assistant named Lupita. She takes down your details and passes them to Robert.
Because she is an AI assistant, the content of your conversation is processed by an artificial-intelligence service we use to run her. That provider processes the messages in order to generate a reply and is not permitted to use them to advertise to you. If you would rather not talk to an assistant at all, call (818) 421-9758 and ask for a person, and we will call you back.
Robert and the people who run our office and phone line. New jobs are sent to us by text, by email, and to the private channel we use to run the business, so that a request does not sit unanswered.
We use ordinary service providers to make that work — a phone and messaging provider, an email provider, the company that hosts this website, and the AI service described above. They handle your information only to provide those services to us. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with marketers or lead brokers.
If we set you up with an account on our client portal, it stores your name, your email address, a protected version of your password, and the plans, photos and estimates connected to your project. Those files are visible to you and to us, and are not public. Ask us and we will close the account and remove the files.
We keep job records for as long as we may need them — to honor a warranty, to answer a question about work we did, or because the law requires us to keep records of the work. If you want your information removed and there is no job or warranty that depends on it, ask and we will remove it.

Do not rely on this website, chat, or text for an emergency. If water is actively flooding, or there is a sewage backup or a smell of gas, call (818) 421-9758. For a suspected gas leak, leave the building and call your gas utility or 911 first.
This is a plumbing business. Our website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
